Alexander McQueen's Fall 2010 collection was about finding beauty from the Dark Ages. No doubt, he was a fashion designer with many wonderful and very inspiring works. From beautiful brocades to a breathtaking gold feathered dress, his final collection was as stunning as his very first and these beautiful shoes design represents his last collection from Fall 2010 RTW.
As a tribute to McQueen, Kelly from Alafemme create a feather wedding shoes design. The feather pumps with gold brocade heel is so tempting. The wedding shoes design represents Alexander McQueen's Gothic last collection and was take approximately 10 days to design. Its up for auction as a brand new handmade pair of feather pumps with a gold brocade heel. The pumps have a 6 inch heel, customized and they are the only pair in existence. Alafemme the wedding shoes designer attached each feather by hand and hand created and painted the raised brocade heel. They also feature a red insole. 
The most interesting point of this shoes design is that the designer decided to donate money to Alexander McQueen's foundation. However, after searching and surprisingly found that there isn't one, she still decided to do something herself and create shoes as a personal memorial to McQueen. Kelly also hoping that her efforts will convince someone to begin a foundation in his honor so that a portion of her proceeds can go towards it. As a tribute to Mr. McQueen and other Gothic fashion designers.
Alexander McQueen has been such an inspiration for so many years, and his death sometimes felt so personal for some people even though they have never met him. He was an artist but not just because of his amazing gothic wedding dresses collection but become he created a world and fantasy that really took you places. Whether it was under the sea or within a chess game, it was amazing.
